Guangzhou Opera House

For those who agree that architecture is about form, space and light, it is materials that can make a great design in to a wonderful piece of architecture.

I hope to experience the building myself one day but based on these images the design team’s control of such a simple palette is skilled and precise in execution that adds texture and warmth to such typically hard and monolithic materials.
